Aunque el país no sea un escenario donde actúen grupos con esas características, el embajador argentino en Washington defendió la adquisición de material bélico realizado por el Gobierno.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hoy se conoció que el representante diplomático argentino en Estados Unidos, Martín Lousteau, envió una nota dirigida al congresista Peter Visclosky, en la que adjuntó el listado de equipamiento en materia militar solicitada por el país para "combatir el terrorismo" e hizo alusión a una reunión que mantuvo con los diputados de Cambiemos, Eduardo Amadeo y Luciano Laspina.<\/p>\n

El armamento comprado por el gobierno argentino  trata de 12 helicópteros de ataque Cobra AH1, utilizados por el Ejército estadounidense durante la Guerra de Vietnam, la del Golfo y unos 10 helicópteros modelo Chinook, utilizados en la guerra de Malvinas.<\/p>\n

Además también se solicitaron unas 182 tanquetas de guerra tipo StryKer, modelos M1128, M1130, M1132, M1134 y M1139, que son utilizadas por las fuerzas armadas de Estados Unidos e Israel.<\/p>\n

A la lista se le suman 24 aviones de caza Texan T6, de los cuales ya se compraron 12. Los Texan son aviones de entrenamiento que fueron utilizados en la Segunda Guerra Mundial y durante las décadas posteriores.<\/p>\n

Además otros 12 aviones de caza F-16 FightingFalcon, desarrollados por EEUU como material exclusivo de exportación utilizados en la Guerra del Líbano, de Afganistán y en la invasión de Estados Unidos a Irak, entre otros conflictos armados.<\/p>\n

Por último, los aviones Orion, utilizados por los estadounidenses en la década del 60, cuando realizaron numerosas patrullas de bloqueo en las costas de Cuba, así como también fueron partícipes en las guerras de Vietnam y del Golfo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
