A 166 años del paso a la inmortalidad del General José de San Martín, no podemos dejar de recordar su papel fundamental durante los procesos emancipatorios de los pueblos de Nuestra América. Aquel San Martín que intentó invisibilizarse por la historiografía liberal, un hombre que iba más allá de sus inigualables capacidades como Militar, un líder político americanista y profundamente arraigado a la Patria Grande. Se trata de un San Martín que –a diferencia de lo que piensa el actual Presidente con respecto a su supuesta “angustia”- evidenciaba una personalidad entusiasta con gran valor y coraje para enfrentar las luchas en pos de la liberación de los pueblos. Características que no se trataron de algo frecuente en la historia de nuestros líderes, y muchos menos durante la última etapa de nuestra patria desde el regreso de la democracia.<\/p>\n

Fue a partir del año 2003 cuando volvimos a percibir en el imaginario social las diferentes ideas propias de nuestra américa, que también eran compartidas por nuestro libertador, como el sentido de pertenencia a la Patria Grande y la hermandad entre los pueblos del Sur. Patria Grande que renació aquel noviembre de 2005 en Mar del Plata, bajo las órdenes de los nuevos héroes de nuestra época: Néstor Kirchner, Hugo Chávez y Lula Da Silva. La integración no se detuvo, y ya con nuevos y extraordinarios líderes populares como fue el caso de nuestra Presidenta Coraje Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, Evo Morales o Rafael Correa nuestro continente alcanzó niveles de hermandad que se acercaban a los vividos en épocas del Padre de la Patria.<\/p>\n

Desafortunadamente, en estos tiempos, el primer mandatario de nuestro país decidió darle la espalda al legado histórico de nuestro Libertador. Sin embargo sus ideas están en el ADN de nuestra nación y del pueblo argentino. Estamos seguros que más temprano que tarde volveremos a ver un nuevo renacer de la Patria Grande, no sólo por la memoria del General San Martín si no por la felicidad de nuestro pueblo; porque como dijo el Libertador, nuestra Patria “será lo que deba ser… o no será nada”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
