En el cable se analiza la situaci&#xF3;n pol&#xED;tica en Brasil durante la presidencia de Luiz In&#xE1;cio Lula da Silva y aparecen las reflexiones de Temer sobre las opciones electorales de su partido para el a&#xF1;o 2006 (el dato del cable filtrado es del 11 de enero del mismo a&#xF1;o), que este compart&#xED;a con dos interlocutores llamados &#x2018;CG&#x2019; y &#x2018;poloffs&#x2019;.<\/p>\n<p>En el cable&#xA0;se afirma que &#x201C;el diputado Federal Michel Temer, presidente nacional del Partido del Movimiento Democr&#xE1;tico Brasile&#xF1;o (PMDB), cree que la desilusi&#xF3;n p&#xFA;blica con el presidente Lula y el Partido de los Trabajadores (PT) proporciona una oportunidad para que el PMDB presente su propio candidato a las elecciones presidenciales de 2006&#x2033;.<\/p>\n<p>&#x201C;Al ser preguntado sobre el programa del partido, Temer indic&#xF3; que el PMDB apoya pol&#xED;ticas que favorecen el crecimiento econ&#xF3;mico. [El partido] no tiene ninguna objeci&#xF3;n al &#xC1;rea de Libre Comercio de las Am&#xE9;ricas (ALCA) y preferir&#xED;a ver al Mercosur fortalecerse con el fin de negociar con el ALCA como bloque, pero la tendencia parece ser la contraria&#x201D;, se afirma en otro fragmento de los documentos filtrados.<\/p>\n<p>En v&#xED;speras de las elecciones de 2006, Temer augur&#xF3; el escenario de una victoria de su partido (PMDB). Adem&#xE1;s, dijo que&#xA0;el PMDB se har&#xED;a con entre 10 y 15 gobernadores ese a&#xF1;o, y que obtendr&#xED;a la mayor&#xED;a de representantes en el Senado y, por tanto, en la C&#xE1;mara de Representantes.<\/p>\n<p>Esto significar&#xED;a que el presidente electo tendr&#xED;a que rendir cuentas ante el poder del PMDB.&#xA0;&#x201C;Quienquiera que gane las elecciones presidenciales tendr&#xE1; que acudir a nosotros para hacer cualquier cosa&#x201D;, habr&#xED;a dicho Temer.<\/p>\n<p>El 12 de mayo pasado, tras la destituci&#xF3;n de Dilma Rouseff por el Senado de Brasil, su vicepresidente, Michel Temer, asumi&#xF3; la presidencia durante los siguientes 180 d&#xED;as.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"multimedia\" data-type=\"photo\" data-url=\"image\" data-asset=\"5af3ba93b1173a1782d5d38a\"><\/div><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En el mensaje&#xA0;figura un documento enviado desde Sao Paulo (Brasil) con destino al Comando Sur de EE.UU., con sede cercana a Miami.
