La masiva marcha motorizada por el Frente para la Victoria en reclamo por los trabajadores municipales de La Plata<\/a>, luego de la brutal represión en la ciudad de las diagonales, obligó al intendente de Cambiemos, Julio Garro, a dar marcha atrás con los despidos.<\/p>\n

Garro se reunió con representantes gremiales del Sindicato de Trabajadores Municipales, UPCN y ATE, con quienes se estudió la incorporación laboral del personal que "efectivamente" cumplía funciones en la Comuna, se informó en un comunicado.<\/p>\n

En la reunión, que fue encabezada por Garro, participaron el Secretario General del Sindicato de UPCN provincia de Buenos Aires, Carlos Quintana; el secretario general de ATE provincia, Oscar de Isasi; y el Secretario Adjunto del Sindicato de Municipales, Marcelo Elvira.<\/p>\n

En ese marco, Garro valoró que “los convocamos para dialogar, escuchar a los gremios y poder avanzar en definiciones concretas con respecto a dar continuidad laboral a los trabajadores que efectivamente cumplían funciones dentro del Municipio”.<\/p>\n

A su vez, los gremios elevaron listados de personal en donde solicitaron la continuidad laboral de quienes diariamente trabajan en el Municipio, en medio del análisis exhaustivo que la Dirección de Personal se encuentra realizando para “no cometer injusticias”, se explicó.<\/p>\n

“Vamos a estudiar la incorporación de cada trabajador que fue solicitado por los gremios”, dijo Garro, quien adelantó que “hay predisposición de trabajo conjunto y mucha voluntad de poder seguir articulando acciones que nos permitan mejorar las condiciones laborales de los trabajadores municipales”.<\/p>\n

Precisó que “un objetivo muy importante de mi gestión será poner en valor a quienes trabajan en la Municipalidad, queremos avanzar con los gremios para lograr mejoras sustanciales que vayan en beneficio de todos los que se esfuerzan para recuperar el brillo de nuestra ciudad”.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Carlos Quintana dijo que “hemos encontrado mucha predisposición al diálogo, que era lo que esperábamos. Nosotros trajimos un listado de gente que trabaja todos los días, no son listados de cargos políticos sino de trabajadores” y estimó en unos 500 los trabajadores a los que se les renovará el contrato laboral.<\/p>\n

Aparte de ellos, desde la Dirección de Personal se trabajó intensamente los últimos días y se logró corroborar que unos 2500 trabajadores sobre 4600 se encontraban prestando tareas en el Municipio por lo que dispuso su continuidad a futuro.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
