El gobernador de Salta tuvo una accidentada conferencia de prensa en las puertas de Casa Rosada tras la reuniòn que mantuvo con el presidente Macri. El mandatario provincial tuvo que hacer su conferencia rodeado por activistas que portaban carteles con leyendas como""Destruir bosques es un crimen" y "No al Indulto".<\/p>\n

Durante su alocución ante los periodistas el gobernador intentó ignorar la protesta. Mientras tanto, los militantes ecologistas le apuntaban que con su postura Urtubey podría permitir que los dueños de 32 fincas avancen con la destrucción de bosques nativos si declara esos desmontes como legales (aun cuando arrasaron con áreas protegidas por la Ley de Bosques)".<\/p>\n

Greenpeace pide en las redes que se sumen contra el indulto de Urtubey: "Esto lo haría junto a las asociaciones de grandes productores agropecuarios, es decir, los mismos responsables del delito de destruir bosques protegidos van a juzgar si lo cometieron", aseveran.<\/p>\n

"En lugar de cumplir con la Ley de Bosques, Urtubey prepara un perdón para los dueños de las fincas que desean obtener ganancias a costa del desmonte ilegal. Si esto sucede, se sentaría un precedente muy peligroso para que cualquier empresario destruya bosques por capricho. Entre las 32 fincas se encuentran La Moraleja S.A. (proveedor de Sprite) y la estancia Cuchuy de Alejandro Braun Peña (primo del Jefe de Gabinete e integrante de varias empresas de la familia Macri)", dicen también los ambientalistas.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, denuncian: "Destruir bosques es un crimen que no debe ser perdonado. El gobernador debe multar a los deforestadores y cancelar los 32 permisos ilegales que les otorgó para desmontar, no buscar excusas. Y las fincas desmontadas deben reforestarse. Pedile a Urtubey que no indulte a los destructores de bosques".<\/p>\n
