Tras el pedido de renuncia del presidente Mauricio Macri a Federico Sturzenegger y la llegada de Luis Caputo en su reemplazó, el flamante titular del Banco Central de la República Argentina cambió a todo el directorio de la entidad. La vicepresidencia, que estaba ocupada por Lucas Llach, quedó en manos de Gustavo Cañonero. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

El flamante vicepresidente, podría ser denunciado por conflicto de intereses, ya que fue respresentante del fondo de inversión Templeton, uno de los que compró los BOTE a pedido de Caputo, que en ese entonces todavía estaba a cargo del ahora extinto Ministerio de Finanzas.  A su vez,  Cañonero era hasta ayer director del SBS Group, empresa que actúa como partner de Templeton en Argentina, y que compró al Estado los bonos por unos 2.200 millones de dólares.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Además, trascendió en varios medios que Cañonero fue funcionario del Fondo Monetario Internacional, al tiempo que es amigo íntimo de Alejandro Werner, el encargado para el Hemisferio Occidental del FMI, que tiene control directo del programa para la Argentina.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Con estos datos, es muy posible que el nuevo vicepresidente del BCRA sea impugnado por la oposición por tener conflicto de intereses. Ya que si bien los bonos BOTE que adquirió Templeton a través de Cañonero son del Tesoro, a fin de cuentas el que deberá abonarlo es el Estado argentino.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
