El escándalo que tuvo amenazas, golpes y robos sucedió luego de una conferencia de prensa brindada por el jefe comunal de San Vicente, Mauricio Gómez, de Cambiemos. Tras las declaraciones del intendente acerca de casos de nepotismo en su gestión, el jefe de Gabinete atacó a los periodistas Nicolás y Mariano Rossi de la web El Ojo de San Vicente<\/p>\n

En el organigrama de Gómez habían sido nombrados al menos diez parientes en distintas dependencias municipales. La esposa, hermanos, hijas y el yerno del intendente son altos funcionarios de la Municipalidad de San Vicente; mientras que algunos concejales revelaron que fueron creadas dependencias especiales y denunciaron que desde la municipalidad no se bajan el organigrama al Concejo Deliberante para conocer en detalle quienes integran las áreas de Gobierno.<\/p>\n

El inicio del escándalo comenzó cuando el periodista Nicolás Rossi preguntó cuántos parientes tiene el intendente en el municipio y cuánto cobraban.  La pregunta cayó mal y la respuesta de Gómez fue disuasiva, luego los periodistas fueron desalojados. A Mariano Rossi además le sacaron el celular cuando intentó sacarlo de su bolsillo para filmar cómo lo golpeaban en el cuerpo.<\/p>\n

En la denuncia policial, el joven asegura que fue golpeado por el secretario de Gobierno, Alejandro Magneti, el secretario de Coordinación Institucional, Marcial Gómez y por Jorge Firpo, director de Suministro. Además, acusó recibir golpes de otros trabajadores municipales que no pudo identificar.<\/p>\n
