Hoy, aprob&oacute; la fusi&oacute;n entre la operadora de cable Cablevisi&oacute;n, que pertenece al multimedios liderado por H&eacute;ctor Magnetto, y la telef&oacute;nica Telecom.<\/p>\n<p>Nace de este modo un nuevo gigante en las telecomunaciones del pa&iacute;s, con el riesgo que esa concentraci&oacute;n supone para la libertad de expresi&oacute;n y el derecho a la informaci&oacute;n. Una misma empresa controlar&aacute; ahora la transmisi&oacute;n de contenidos audiovisuales y datos, telefon&iacute;a m&oacute;vil y fija, y la posibilidad cercana del negocio del triple play.<\/p>\n<p>La decisi&oacute;n fue tomada por la Comisi&oacute;n Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia, a cargo de Esteban Greco, quien concluy&oacute; con un camino que ambas compa&ntilde;&iacute;as hab&iacute;an iniciado en junio del a&ntilde;o pasado. Seg&uacute;n fuentes privadas, la operaci&oacute;n le dio origen a la mayor compa&ntilde;&iacute;a de telecomunicaciones de la regi&oacute;n.<\/p>\n<p>En las redes sociales, el especialista en comunicaci&oacute;n Mart&iacute;n Becerra cuestion&oacute; la decidi&oacute;n estatal: &quot;El gobierno aprob&oacute; la fusi&oacute;n Cablevisi&oacute;n\/Telecom (accionistas mayoritarios del Grupo Clar&iacute;n) con escasos condicionamientos a la -ya consumada de facto y ahora bendecida- mayor concentraci&oacute;n de la historia de las comunicaciones en A.
