Se trata de Hernan Lopes, quien despidió a más de 300 personas el año pasado y cien en 2018. Este vaciamiento se impulsa hace dos años con el objetivo de abaratar la mano de obra e importar productos de China y Brasil.<\/p>\n

Los últimos 50 operarios de la fábrica Gaelle, denuncian que su dueño, José Lopes, se niega a pagarles la indemnización y que la planta cerró definitivamente.<\/p>\n

Durante el conflicto, que comenzó hace dos años, Lopes, hijo del dueño de la empresa, amedrentó a los trabajadores en diferentes oportunidades mientras se manifestaban.<\/p>\n

Debido a la baja en las ventas y a la apertura de las importaciones, la empresa comenzó en mayo de 2016 con el despido de la mayoría de los 300 operarios que tenía hasta ese momento. Los despidos y retiros voluntarios del personal se realizaron en pequeños grupos durante todo este tiempo hasta llegar a contar sólo con los poco más 50 que fueron cesanteados el 22 de agosto.<\/p>\n

La empresa Gaelle nació en 1982. Su fundador, José Lopes, manifestaba en mayo de 2016 que desde diciembre de 2015 habían mermado los pedidos de zapatillas en la planta.<\/p>\n

“Los precios se disparan y se está perdiendo rentabilidad. Nuestra ilusión es que pasen estos seis primeros meses que están siendo muy duros por los cambios”, sostenía Lopes. La ilusión se convirtió en despidos y, finalmente, en el cierre de la planta. Vecinos de la zona contaron que mientras antes de diciembre de 2015 tres camiones diarios retiraban mercadería para ser distribuida, en la actualidad un solo camión retiraba mercadería semanalmente.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
