En las últimas horas se conocieron los resultados de la convocatoria 2018 de ingreso Conicet: de 2.500 candidatos, sólo ingresaron 450. Es decir que, producto del ajuste y los recortes al sector, cerca de 2.050 doctores (grado y posgrado, formados en universidades nacionales por más de 12 años) quedaron excluidos. <\/p>\n

El organismo aprobó el acceso de sólo el 17,7% de los postulantes, lo que significa que más de dos mil doctores formados en universidades nacionales por más de 12 años fueron expulsados del sistema científico nacional.<\/p>\n

Las oportunidades no sólo mermaron dentro del Conicet -el organismo más importante del país en la materia-, sino también en entes descentralizados como INTA, INTI, CNEA y CONAE. En todos ellos los despidos se contaron por centenares, y las contrataciones a cuentagotas.<\/p>\n

El deterioro es indiscutible, y se vuelve evidente si se observan los números del programa Raíces, creado por el gobierno anterior para repatriar científicos. Hasta 2016 logró el retorno de casi 1.300 investigadores, a un promedio de 102 por año. Con el macrismo, en 2017 y 2018, sólo regresaron seis.<\/p>\n

“Hace tres años que Macri y Barañao pusieron fin a una política de crecimiento y expansión del CONICET y discontinuaron el Plan Argentina Innovadora 2020, que preveía aumentar la cantidad de científicos en el país. Hoy cientos de jóvenes investigadores piensan en irse al exterior”, aseguró a Canal Abierto el bioquímico, diputado nacional y expresidente del Conicet, Roberto Salvarezza.<\/p>\n
