A pesar de los discursos optimistas del Gobierno de Mauricio Macri, en mayo se derrumbaron las ventas minoristas con un derrumbe del 13,5% en supermercados y 18,7% en shoppings.<\/p>\n

En ambos casos, se trata de los peores valores desde el inicio de la recesión, a excepción de los números de marzo para los primeros y de abril para los segundos, donde se registraron retrocesos todavía mayores. Se está ante una caída fenomenal, sólo comparable con las crisis de 1989 y 2001. <\/p>\n

De acuerdo a datos del Indec, las ventas a precios constantes de supermercados sumaron un total de $22.872,2 millones, un volumen todavía menor al mes previo. Así, acumula once meses consecutivos a la baja.<\/p>\n

Los rubros de artículos que tuvieron los aumentos más significativos a precios corrientes -sin descontar la inflación- fueron carnes (67,1%), lácteos (61,9%) y almacén (56,8%), mientras que los sectores más perjudicados fueron electrónicos y artículos para el hogar (-25,9%), y verdulería y frutería (32%).<\/p>\n

Respecto al orden geográfico, las jurisdicciones donde se registraron las subas más importantes fueron Neuquén (51,9%), Misiones (51,6%), Catamarca (46,5%) y CABA (46,3%); en cuanto que las provincias menos dinámicas en materia de ventas minoristas fueron Santiago del Estero (19,7%) y Tucumán (23,9%).<\/p>\n
