Con la firma del juez Luis Rodríguez, la Policía detuvo al especialista en seguridad informática Javier Smaldone. Fue detenido junto a otras personas, en el marco de los allanamientos dispuestos a partir de la investigación por la causa conocida como "Gorraleaks", que investiga una filtración de información privada de las fuerzas de seguridad que estalló en las redes sociales.<\/p>\n

En concreto, Smaldone es señalado por haber realizo un retuit con la información que circuló sobre agentes de seguridad y que se conoció como "Gorraleaks". Según fuentes policiales, junto a Smaldone, demorado en la alcaidía Cavia ubicada en el barrio de Palermo. <\/p>\n

Además, se detuvo a Emanuel Velez Cheratto, Carlos Oronao, María Ofelia Oronao, Sofía Rivalora y Rodrigo Giménez, que fueron trasladados a delegaciones de la Policía Federal en Córdoba, Santa Fe y La Plata.<\/p>\n

En los operativos fueron secuestrados notebooks y teléfonos celulares, los cuales serán peritados por la Justicia, en teoría para buscar presuntas vinculaciones entre las personas y el ataque informático. Según aclararon, hasta el momento no hay una orden de captura formal contra las tres personas investigadas.<\/p>\n

Smaldone tomo relevancia en las redes cuando comenzó su cruzada contra el voto electrónico, precisamente contra las falencias que el sistema Smartmatic no pudo ocultar. En el año 2016, dentro del plenario de comisiones sobre la reforma electoral impulsada por el oficialismo, el informático mostró en el Congreso cómo se podía violar el secreto con la aplicación de un celular. “¿Cómo lo evitan? Es una pavada hacerlo y funciona con celulares de dos mil pesos”, había dicho sentado al lado del diputado de Cambiemos Pablo Tonelli. <\/p>\n

Este mismo martes pasadas las 17, su hija Carla confirmó en twitter que fue liberado.<\/p>\n
