Entre ellos, firmaron los prestigiosos Joseph E.&nbsp;Stiglitz&nbsp;,&nbsp;Edmund S.&nbsp;Phelps,&nbsp;Carmen M. Reinhart<\/p>\n<p>&quot;La pandemia del COVID-19 ha empujado a la humanidad hacia la peor recesi&oacute;n global del tiempo moderno. Las presiones sobre finanzas p&uacute;blicas se han vuelto enormes, particularmente en pa&iacute;ses en desarrollo que ya estaban muy endeudados&quot;, comienza la solicitada.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&quot;El Banco Mundial, el FMI y la ONU han lanzado varias iniciativas para aliviar la carga de la deuda externa&nbsp;en esta extraordinaria situaci&oacute;n. Como primer paso, los pa&iacute;ses del G20 acordaron otorgar una moratoria sobre la deuda bilateral oficial de las 76 econom&iacute;as m&aacute;s pobres del mundo&quot;, siguieron.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Y luego se refirieron a la situaci&oacute;n argentina: &quot;En este momento excepcional, la propuesta de Argentina incluso presenta una oportunidad para la comunidad financiera internacional de demostrar que pueden resolver crisis de deuda soberana, de forma ordenada, eficiente y sostenible&quot;-<\/p>\n<p>&quot;La ausencia de un marco de referencia legal internacional para reestructurar deudas externas&nbsp;no deber&iacute;a privar a los pa&iacute;ses endeudados de la posibilidad de proteger su gente y proveerles una recuperaci&oacute;n econ&oacute;mica durante la mayor crisis global de nuestra memoria&quot;, describieron.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Creemos que un acuerdo sustentable beneficia a ambas partes: una lucha econ&oacute;mica con 45 millones de personas y a los acreedores mismos. Ahora es el momento de que los acreedores privados act&uacute;en de buena fe.
