En el marco de la conferencia de prensa junto al gobernador Axel Kicillof, por la firma de convenios para la realización de obras en la Provincia, el presidente de la Nación Alberto Fernández apuntó a la política criminal del macrismo que generó sobrepoblación y hacinamiento en las cárceles bonaerenses.<\/p>\n

“Tener la mano dura y encarcelar a todos y no construir cárceles, no tiene sentido. Es todo márketing eso”, disparó Fernández, en referencia al aumento de detenidos durante los últimos cuatros años. Y completó: “Es un acto inhumano tener a esa cantidad de personas hacinadas. Y abrazamos la política porque la humanidad nos importa”.<\/p>\n

La crítica del presidente se enmarca dentro de la firma del convenio entre la Nación y la Provincia para la construcción de 12 unidades sanitarias penitenciaras preparadas exclusivamente para internos que necesiten aislamiento en caso de contagiarse coronavirus.<\/p>\n

Además, el Ministro de Obras Públicas de Nación, Gabriel Katopodis, anunció la implementación de un plan de infraestructura que significará 2 mil plazas nuevas en el sistema penitenciario con el objetivo de descomprimir el hacinamiento.<\/p>\n

“No podemos dejar ni permitir que esa situación de desigualdad se sostenga, y si queremos vivir en un país federal, debemos integrarnos. No va a haber una mano mágica del mercado que lo haga.
