El dólar parece haber encontrado alguna calma luego de dos meses de muchas presiones sobre su valor. Mientras el oficial sigue creciendo al ritmo de la inflación, el informal está por debajo del "solidario". La brecha está en torno al 65%, lo que es una buena noticia si se considera que llegó a estar por arriba del 100%. <\/p>\n

En ese contexto, el Banco Central logró sumar reservas por 500 millones de dólares. Hizo compras por 13 vez consecutiva. Así las cosas, las reservas están por encima de los 39 mil millones de dólares, por primera vez desde el 18 de noviembre de 2020. <\/p>\n

El 23 de diciembre, último dato disponible, las reservas cerraron en 39.216 mil millones de dólares, aunque podrían estar un poco más arriba al día de hoy. Cuando asumió Alberto Fernández en diciembre de 2019, estaban en 43.785 mil millones de dólares. El Central perdió 4 mil millones en un año. <\/p>\n

Las reservas son la espalda que tiene un Banco Central para enfrentar los vaivenes en torno al dólar, sobre todo en un país como la Argentina, que tiene una economía bimonetaria. Cuanto menos reservas hay, más vulnerable es el país a una corrida cambiaria o las presiones devaluatorias.
