La ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzotti, anunció que la Anmat recomendó a la cartera a su cargo autorizar el uso de emergencia de la vacuna Sinopharm contra el coronavirus en el grupo de mayores de 60 años.<\/p>\n

De esta forma, la vacuna provista por el Beijing Institute of Biological Products, podrá utilizarse en nuestro país para avanzar en la inmunización de este grupo de riesgo.<\/p>\n

La Anmat indicó que "la seguridad analizada en el ensayo de Fase III entre el grupo de vacunados y el grupo placebo, resulta con un perfil aceptable y hasta el momento del análisis no hubo eventos adversos inesperados o graves relacionados al producto".<\/p>\n

La inmunogenicidad correspondiente al grupo etario de mayores de 60 años presenta una cantidad de anticuerpos neutralizantes compatible con el de menores de 59 años.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con el cronograma de vacunación de la cartera sanitaria, el total de adultos que son mayores de 60 años o viven en geriátricos asciende aproximadamente a 7.375.000, y ocupan el tercer lugar de prioridad detrás de los mayores de 70 años y el personal de establecimientos de salud público y privado, que suman cerca de 763 mil trabajadores.<\/p>\n

Según el análisis interino, la eficacia de la vacuna Sinopharm determinada en el ensayo clínico en el que participaron 25.730 voluntarios es 78,89%.<\/p>\n

La ministra Vizzotti comunicó la recomendación de la Anmat en el marco de la reunión de la Comisión Nacional de Inmunizaciones, que integran expertos, sociedades científicas, diputados nacionales y representantes de agencias nacionales e internacionales.<\/p>\n
